Farm Manager & Permaculture Education Coordinator
Help shape a regenerative farm and a place where people can learn,
grow and reconnect with the natural world.
Nature. Regeneration. Learning. Community.
An invitation to help bring a meaningful vision to life.
Byron Bay hinterland, NSW
The opportunity
Do you dream of living close to nature, working with the land, and creating a place where people can come together to learn, grow and be inspired?
We are seeking a passionate and resourceful person to help care for and develop a beautiful permaculture farm in the Byron Bay hinterland, potentially encompassing up to 120 acres of land with enormous potential.
Our vision is to create a vibrant, regenerative and inspiring place where the principles of permaculture, sustainable living and connection with nature can be shared with others.
Alongside caring for the land, we want to develop week-long and month-long courses, workshops and immersive learning experiences for people who want to deepen their understanding of sustainable living and reconnect with the natural world.
We are looking for someone who can help bring this vision to life.
What you'll do
This is a unique opportunity for someone who combines a love of the land with an interest in people, education and community building.
You will take an active role in the day-to-day management and ongoing development of the farm, while helping establish it as a destination for meaningful, hands-on learning experiences.
Care for the property and its natural systems, support permaculture practices, and help develop the land in harmony with its ecology.
Plan, organise and coordinate week-long and month-long courses, workshops and other educational experiences.
Identify suitable teachers, facilitators and collaborators, develop course offerings, and help shape an engaging calendar of events.
Coordinate bookings, participants, accommodation, facilities, supplies and the practical details that make each program successful.
Communicate our vision, promote courses and workshops, and build relationships with potential participants and collaborators.
Bring initiative, creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit to developing the farm as a place of learning, regeneration and connection.
Who we're looking for
You are comfortable taking responsibility, making things happen and turning ideas into reality.
Ideally, you will bring a blend of practical ability, organisational confidence and a genuine interest in regenerative living.
What we offer
A meaningful role with room to bring your ideas to life and help shape something lasting.
The opportunity to live immersed in the natural beauty of the Byron Bay hinterland.
The opportunity to benefit directly from the successful development of the farm's educational programs and activities.
A meaningful role with real scope for initiative, learning and contribution.
The opportunity to help shape and develop something, rather than simply step into an established position.
The satisfaction of bringing people together to learn practical skills, exchange ideas and experience regenerative living.
The precise remuneration and profit-sharing structure will be discussed with the right candidate and agreed upon transparently.
A sense of place
A glimpse of the landscape and life that make this place special.
Be part of something meaningful
We see this as more than a job. It is an opportunity to create a living example of what is possible when people work with nature, share knowledge and build a community around a common vision.
If you have the practical skills, organisational ability and passion to help turn this vision into reality, we would love to hear from you.
To express your interest, please tell us a little about yourself, your relevant experience, and why this opportunity appeals to you.
