Hello and welcome,
A deep yet hazy sense
has relentlessly pulled me towards investigating,
exploring and contemplating issues of consciousness.
Paradoxical words of the Tao :
"Whatever is to be made to fall,
first must be raised.
If you want to become whole, first let yourself
become broken.
If you want to become straight, first let
yourself become twisted.
If you want to become full, first let yourself
become empty."
In meditation honesty with oneself is indispensable to
awareness. Subtle, almost insignificant
resistance will hide our deepest fears; resistance to breathing, to images, to the body.
When refusing to run and allowing all to be taken away;
reality remains. This is the desireless, the no longer wanting,
the recognition of the absolute. At first
it feels like infinite emptiness. But infinite
emptiness, reveals the infinite, the timeless,
the choiceless, the immutable, the real.
In meditative consciousness liberation is
revealed not in victory, not when we prevail
but when we find ourselves defeated. And in that unexpected moment our being recognises
the silence, the silence that has always
been there.
Without contrast the image is blurred. Look
at the background; the silence, the vastness,
the no thingness. The foreground is not
eliminated yet changed forever. What is
seen is beyond both. An absolute presence
- undeniable, all embracing, real. It is not separate from you.
