DRAGO DRAMA:
An Experience of Personal Exploration
If everything in your life is perfect, read no further and go celebrate. But, if there are still snags to be overcome, you might have a problem with dragons! Come join the quest to reclaim your Jewel of Great Worth from the Dragon who hordes it in its lair. Beware! You will also encounter other denizens of the Dragon’s Realm such as the Sirens of Self Doubt, the Ogres of Oblivion, the Duchess of Depression, and the Mage of Malice. This workshop uses archetypal psychodrama to explore life issues through the metaphor of Encountering the Dragon. It has been offered in various forms around the world.

Exploring the Neurobiology of Trauma while Developing Self-Care Strategies

This workshop includes didactic presentation, experiential activity and discussion, as we explore the neurobiology of trauma and its effects on the brain. Using this understanding as a foundation, participants will explore the ways in which trauma affects not only clients, but also the professionals who serve them. As the processes of "secondary traumatization" are explored, participants will develop personal and group strategies to provide adequate self-care to prevent burn-out and fatigue.

• Describe the functions of the various parts of the brain.

Using Action TechniquesThis workshop focuses on many of the principles and techniques presented in this new book:

This workshop explores, in action, the theory, philosophy, and practice of utilizing action techniques (psychodrama, sociodrama, drama therapy) with adolescent groups. It further explores the types of techniques suited to various stages of adolescent and group development.

• list activities appropriate to various stages of group development
