The Kuan Yin Meditation Centre, located in Lismore in Northern New South Wales was established by Subhana.Barzaghi who is a teacher in both the Zen and Vipassana traditions. The Dojo was purpose built by Subhana as the first Zen Temple in Australia. The Centre supports both Vipassana and Zen groups.
The Kuan Yin Meditation Group meets on Wednesday evenings 7pm. The program includes sitting and walking meditation, guided meditation, interviews, Dharma talks and Dharma discussion under the guidance of Ellen Davison, an Insight Meditation teacher and apprentice Zen teacher in the Diamond Sangha lineage. The orientation of the Wednesday evening group is Insight (Vipassana) Meditation. The KYMC premises are also available for use by other meditation and yoga groups.___________________________
