Bay Insight Meditation

When & Where
The group meets on Tuesdays at Temple Byron, Byron Bay. Everybody is welcome. The sessions begin at 7.15pm and conclude at 9pm. No registration is necessary, just turn up and be welcomed.

Temple Byron Yurt, 46 Melaleuca Drive, (former Aikido Centre)

Sessions
Sessions are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators, with instruction given as
appropriate.The format consists of silent sitting meditation, walking meditation, Dharma talk (teachings on thenature of life), group discussion and social interaction.

Cost
There is no fee for the teachings but the practice of generosity (dana) is encouraged to provide the means for the teachers to continue to offer the teachings and for the cost of the facilities to be covered.

Radha Nicholson

Radha Nicholson teaches the cultivation of wisdom and compassion through Insight. Her teachings focus on Inquiry and the non-dual nature of reality. She is a guiding teacher for Bay Insight in Byron Bay and regularly teaches retreats in Australia and India. Radha is a registered psychologist and is in private practice. She co-facilitates the Australian Dharma Facilitators Program with Christopher Titmuss.

Ellen Davison

Ellen Davison teaches in both the Vipassana and Zen traditions and is a guiding teacher for the Kuan Yin Meditation Centre in Lismore and Bay Insight. She has over 30 years experience in Buddhist meditation and brings Insight and Joy to her teachings. Ellen regularly leads retreats and workshops throughout Australia. She is a psychologist and works as a counsellor in tertiary education.

Carol Perry
Ellen Davison
has practiced meditation since the 1970s. She is a founding member of the Dharmananda community and works as a mediator. She leads workshops throughout Australia and has a particular interest in the use of mindfulness in conflict management.
