Hi my dear friends,
Atma-Sphere groups are continuing each Wednesday at my home just outside
Mullumbimby. In an uncertain and fractured international landscape,
it is so refreshing to meet in this intimate way where participants
can process their deepest feelings. Such a deepening occurs when we
mirror each other by holding a space to discover more about the formerly
unseen or denied parts of ourselves. It is such an inspiration to
uncover an increasing wholeness that re-enables me and others to take
an ever more active part in co-creating a new way of deepening communication,
mutually empowering consensus, and cooperative endeavour for the betterment
for everyone in our community.
I
am also continuing to work with others in the Real
Democracy Byron Shire group to pave the way for a new paradigm
of consensual local democracy that will transform local politics by
empowering Shire residents to protect and evolve this unique and precious
area. By stripping away the vestiges of patriarchal and hierarchical
politics, we can empower each other to express our individual talents
for the mutual benefit of our local community. What more satisfying
response can be made to the global decay of the existing political
paradigm? Surely this is a true expression of the call to think globally
but act locally?! A public campaign towards electing pre-contracted
councillors that will serve us, the people, after the local 2008 elections
is about to begin, and we invite every one of you to join us in this
exciting new project that will unfold through meeting in intimate
physical groups and by using internet technology that is unique, locally
invented, and tailored for a new paradigm of consensus decision making!
Whether
your focus is for personal healing and empowerment, or for practical
and grounded cooperative action for our mutual benefit, then Atma-Sphere
groups are for you. It is very exciting to develop relationships that
serve both our individual and our common evolution without giving
our power away to teachers, gurus, and new age career workshoppers.
Welcome to the new paradigm of mutual self-empowerment and shared
responsibility for a society that reflects our innate inner landscape!
